I like to be at the waterfront, walking the beach, to be on a ship, sailing, like to swim and of course love fishing the fly! I visit the these places as often as possible. Mostly during the weekends and during the holidays. You could say the water more then just attracts me. How come?

A GREAT CONCEPT
I already own some vices, simple and old ones. One I bought 25 years ago when I started with fly fishing. Another one, an Orvis, was part of a whole bunch of fly fishing and fly tying stuff I bought from a guy cleaning his attic. The third one I bought a couple of years ago, a rotating one, a cheaper model.

The last couple of days a giant man-eating pike gets a lot of media coverage in Holland. Not only the local press is responsible for big headlines, even the big national newspapers dedicate attention to this monster.

Brrr, cold winds and low temperatures are the reasons for fishing near Munkebo in the shallow waters of the Odense Fjord. We attempt to fish for seatrout near the small harbour. Harsh conditions, eastern winds, air temperature below 5 degrees Celsius and we're standing in the icecold waters hoping for?

It happened on a quiet, sunny autumn day. Young swallows hung around the reed beds, common sandpipers were searching for chironimod larvae and cormorants raised their wings to dry. Everything was quiet but all the birds seemed particularly vigilant. The huge cumulus-clouds somehow created a feeling of expectation.
